Certificates
CHFA is authorized by Health Canada to issue certificates to facilitate international trade. CHFA’s certificate program was developed in accordance with the information and templates originally established by Health Canada. We have prepared certificates for export to more than 50 countries.

Under CHFA’s ITC program, certificates are verified against Health Canada’s two official databases:
- The Licensed Natural Health Products Database (LNHPD); and
- The list of Site Licence Holders.

Application Forms
The issuance of an International Trade Certificate or Certificate of Free Sale by CHFA is based solely on a review of information applicable to the Product Licence or Site referred to on the submitted certificate. It is available on the Natural and Non-prescription Health Product Directorate of Health Canada website, at the time of the issuance of the International Trade Certificate, and is reflective of information on that website to the currency of that website.
